39m x 6.8 m beam, 2m draft. German Coaster built in 1950. This is a beautiful little ship. 265 HP M.W.M. engine which was rebuilt in 1980 with a new tailshaft and bearings added at the same time. With less than 100 hours running time used since then. Holds an excellent current survey in Oct 2008, when it was dry docked for minor repaired and 20 new annodes added. This boat has the beauty of a double bottom of 6mm steel in the hold area.
Boat has been fully re-painted using Jotul marine paint. 4 solar panesl for free hot water in the summer months. 400 watt U.S.A wind turbine for charging 2 new banks of 24 volt batteries.
She has seperate living accomodation in what was the original crew quarters, with 1 double bedroom, large front room with small log burner, galley, toilet/wet shower room. Oil fired central heating. .
The hold is converted using nearly all reclaimed timber, and includes substantial wooden beams, giving it an olde world appeal. It is an enormous space (75 feet x 22.3 feet) with potential for more conversion. I have added a wooden floor above one section, which is the grandchildrens' camp at the moment, but is in place ready for an upward extension.
I am buidling 2 more bedrooms in the hold area. 1 is already finished and the other is under construction now. will add pics when ready.
The hold also contains my workshop, (20 feet x 22 feet) which also has a wooden floor added (used for storage but added for a possible upward extension). Workshop contains a table saw and chop saw, tools and lots of wood which will all come with the boat.
This boat is ideal for a large family with a granny flat required, but its potential is endless. She has been featured in T.V. programmes, and has recently been used in an interior design magazine

This is a regrettable sale, but we need to downsize now that the family has left home, and only the 2 of us live on her. We love this boat, and it is a fantastic home. I have spent the last 16 years working on her. She was completely cleaned inside and out, before any conversion work was started, so no conversion over rust. Insulated to a high degree. Full photographic history of all work carried out. (full history of her previous life as a working barge available too!)
