54ft x 14ft ex Fishing Trawler - ready to be converted to a houseboat. Has a Volvo 100B 150hp diesel inboard engine with single lever control which has had £11,000 spent on it and since then has done very few hours.Probably the longest trip she has made has been from Essex to her current mooring at Rawcliffe Bridge, East Yorkshire. Since the current owners have had this boat they have completely removed and fitted a new wheelhouse and deck saloon, all steel, plywood lined and with new aluminium framed windows.. She has new brass portholes fitted to the masters cabin, aft and below the wheelhouse. All steelwork has been chipped and primed. There is potential for more cabins to be installed forward of the wheelhouse in the original fish hold which is nice and clean. The boat has great potential to make a beautiful home for whoever should buy it This boat has hydraulic steering, two anchors, navigation lights,VHF radio, JRC radar, fish finder, auto pilot, depth sounder, searchlight, bilge pump and 6.5 kva generator. Cargo hatches and tarpaulins fitted 2003.Has Lister Blackstone 3 cylinder electric start engine 202 hp. Hydraulic steering plus two types of emergency steering. Double glazed fold down wheelhouse.Accommodation for three in recently renovated crews quarters. This is a barge with loads of potential. She could be worked again requiring only a MCA inspection which as she has passed all her other previous ones shouldn't be a problem. She is large enough to be converted into a restaurant/conference barge, floating workshop or even into a house boat - to reduce her size is an option and this could be done close by. She has a 40kva Perkins diesel generator, 1 cyl Petter diesel deck wash/fire pump. She was fully rewired in 2003 with both 220 and 24v. Built in 1910 this barge was originally sail but is now powered by an original (although refurbished)Lister JP2 engine with new shaft and new propeller. Sides are of Cromweld (S.African stainless steel) Although converted to a spacious liveaboard she still retains some of her original features, including tiller steering. There is an engine room, workshop, two toilets, lounge with galley comprising of 2 burner hob with oven and grill, stainless steel sink and drainer, double bedroom with ensuite toilet and shower and also office space in the original crews quarters. Heated by gas central heating she also has a wood/coal burning stove. She was spray foam insulated when converted. Originally used on the Dearne and Dove canal she was also used as a trip boat on the Sheffield canal. Believed to be the last one left out of six built for use on the Dearne and Dove. Two winches, anchor and chain. Safety certificate 2011 |

Premier Houseboats are pleased to present this converted trawler. Built 1965 in Arklow - former name Naomi Brendan. Powered by 6 cylinder Gardner 114hp engine and with hydraulic steering.This lovely example of a cruising live aboard is about 3/4 complete. Extra large, spacious and airy wheelhouse with toughened glass windows and doors house the galley which consists of full size sink and drainer, full size cooker, microwave, 12volt fridge and ample work surfaces and cupboards - forward of that is the seating area consisting of "L" shaped settee which converts to make a double bed - then forward is the wheel and instrumentation which include GPS, VHF, Fish Finder, Sonar amongst others and also includes a built in "hideaway" sewing machine.. This Wheelhouse is extremely well insulated - floors alone inch plywood, 4 inch rockwell insulation and then another inch of ply then the boards laid on top, sides well insulated with rockwell too. Down stairs to bedroom with double bed, wardrobes, drawers leading to dressing room, You have shower and sea toilet. Also down stairs is a freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a 8 kva generator and also a 3500 watt Phoenic invertor. Black tank holds 168 gallons, diesel tank holds 400 gallons and fresh water 250 gallons.Navigation Lights, Hand rails (there but to be put on), Dinghy with outboard. There is a years licence on her and moorings are paid until September. Safety Certificate 2010.The only reason this boat is being sold is purely health reasons. Laying at Rawcliffe Bridge.
