Premier Houseboats are pleased to present this extremely spacious houseboat on a residential mooring just twenty minutes tube ride from central London. The houseboat has plenty of natural light on both levels, and has been left completely open plan for you to finish and create a superb home. The above deck structure houses a Royal oil burning range, and would be ideal as a kitchen, diner and/or lounge area, with panoramic views. A small staircase leads down to a good size back cabin that could easily be a master suite, and a larger set of stairs lead down to the main living area, a massive space that can be kept open plan or indeed seperated to create more rooms if you wish. The boat is fully insulated and wired, and part plumbed. To the front of the boat is another cabin, again ideal as a bedroom or maybe a family bathroom. Outside there is a tremendous amount of deck space for you to enjoy the warm summer evenings. There is a running DAF 240hp engine, and a hydraulic 2:1 gearbox. There is currently no wheelhouse or operating equipment, although the frame for the wheel house will come with the boat. This will enable you to fully convert to a cruising houseboat if you wish. All in all this is an extremely spacious home, ready for you to complete to your own tastes, with all the hard work done, with the added option of creating a cruising home. A wonderful opportunity for extremely affordable housing in a much sought after area. |

THE HOUSDEBOAT CENTRE is pleased to present this Livaboard Princess 414 on secure residential mooring on the Thames between Windsor and Maidenhead. A fantastic private park mooring, opposite Eton Rowing Course, quiet, plenty of parking, laundrette, 25 mins W.London via M4, council tax exempt.
This 1985 Princess 414, the livaboard cruiser of choice, with flybridge, en suite master cabin, split level lounge/kitchen, guest double with en suite. 2 double permanent berths, plus 4 extra. Safety cert to 2012, all whistles and bells, low engine hours (800), runs like a clock. Can navigate bridges up to Oxford, twin engines make her a joy to handle, equiptment includes almost new 4m inflatable and Honda 2.5hp. Phone and broadband connected, mains electric, water, new gangway fitted, mooring has garden with half height shed and sunken patio/bbq area, and furniture.
The recent survey covering letter starts with 'what a find!' and Djinskiia is indeed a top class twin screw cruiser. Volvo 60c's on shafts, full electronics, eberspacher cental heating, calorifier (immersion heater), Smev oven, holding tanks, all looked after by professional maine engineer (me). Super comfortable memory foam double island bed, fully equipt galley, radio/cd with ipod input.
New this year, full sun hoods for flybridge and large aft deck.
I cannot fasult his as a Thames residential cruiser, it ticks all the boxes at a sensible price.
Engine(s)
Twin Volvo 255hp TAMD 60c's, regularly maintained by previous owners, and fully checked andruthlessly maintained since by current owner, who is a marine engineer with very high standards. Flexible fuel hoses replaced, 6 state of the art deep cycle gel batteries fitted, (Hawker,as used on nuclear subs), charged through 3 bank charger. Inverter fitted, with crossover switch. The engines are in tip top condition, and start on the button, economical to run for gentle cruising on the upper Thames, but plenty of grunt when the turbos kick in below Tower Bridge.
The extensive survey done 2 years ago passed the hull as A1, no osmosis, no chips, Princess are the Rolls Royce of boat builders, and Djinskiia is testement to the quality product Marine Projects turn out.
The only recommendation from the surveyer in 2008 was to double up on the hose clip on the forward heads.
Large full width back cabin, with island bed and seperate shower and toilet en suite. Upper lounge area has L shaped fitted settee, with drinks fridge and lit glass cabinets opposite. Lockers and drawers give loads of storage space. Large internel helm, chart table and electronics. Lower kitchen level with domestic size fridge, double sink, 4 burner hob, Smev oven. Lounge/diner opposite seats 6 round table. Forward double cabin, giant vee berths with infil, en suite shower/toilet. Showers are supplied with ample hot water by the large engine or 240v calorifier.
This boat is ideal for staying aboard, and guests have a dedicated en suite cabin, and for the occasional 'extras' overnighting, the saloon and dinette tables convert into 2 more doubles. New carpets fitted winter 2008.
Come the BBQ season, Djinskia comes into her own, with a large back deck for entertaining, connected by a moulded in stair to the flybridge, great for all round veiwing underway or moored up. A large fordeck gives even more space for entertaining or catching a few rays!
GPS, electric anchor windlass, aluminium gangway, 4m rib style inflatable, 2.3 Honda outboard. New ropes, rope hooks, bimini sun hoods in 'Sunbrella' on both flybridge and back deck. Emergency life raft, (needs a service to be in date). Flybridge and saloon windows have bespoke PVC covers.
Full electronic navigation fitted, although the radar has been removed in preparation for fitting one of the new low cost digital radar sets. Auto pilot, GPS, VHF sets and complete engine readouts fitted.
Safety Equipment
2008 Fire extinguishers throughout, auto system in engine bays. Bilge pumps, manual and electric. |

| House Boats: For Sale: Humber Keel |
| Featured Advert!

Premier Houseboats are pleased to present this humber keel on a residential mooring with cruising capabilities. The current owner purchased this humber keel from the Wandsworth Youth River Club in 2003, where it had been used as a training, adventure and leisure pursuit vessel. It comfortably accomodated up to 12 children plus crew, and between 1985 and 2003 it has carried over 10000 children, and obviously from a safety point of view was maintained to strict high standards. The accomodation is on two levels, there is a comfortable deck level structure, light and airy offering panoramic views, and ideal as a lounge. Stairs lead down to an open living area, with wood and coal stove, comfortable lounge area and double berth. There is also a seperate galley, with Oven, sink and microwave. There is a seperate toilet area, a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, and a bathroom with sink, shower and a large bath that needs to be plumbed. Outside there is good clean deck space, and a wheelhouse with original equipment. The Lister engine, which has under 3000 hours, has been recently tested and run, and found to be in good working order. This humber keel provides comfortable accomodation, and is a good size as a static or cruising houseboat, and with some internal redesign and updating will be a superb home. |
