**PRICE JUST REDUCED**AND MOORING FULLY PAID TILL DECEMBER
Beautiful Historical Thames Barge built in 1896. The 'wow factor' is guaranteed with Beric's magical atmosphere and has loads of charm and character. The barge has lots of room including three bedrooms (one with kingsize bed, one with double bed and one with 2 single bunks), huge saloon including lovely bar, fully equipped kitchen/galley. Full mod cons including full size sunken bath, central heating, log burning stove, dishwasher, freezer, fridge, washing machine, 240v generator, 100hp engine, life raft, clinker dinghy....the list goes on. The barge needs to be seen to appreciate just how comfortable and magical it really is!
Due to the historical nature of the barge we have some very attractive mooring options open to us in London and Essex. We are currently moored in a lovely Central London location. (we do not own the mooring but it is at a very reasonable rate and is transferable, we also have various other moorings where the barge can be moored)
We qualify to get Tower Bridge to open for us which is a fantastic experience. Recently Charlie Dimmock was on board filming a documentary for ITV1 and last year we received a Transport Trust Award' presented to us by HRH Prince Michael of Kent. This is an opportunity to experience an amazing way of life. We have lived on board for 6 very happy years but due to family circumstances its time to move on. We would love the barge to go to a good home. If you are genuinely serious about buying a barge and have the finance we would be only too pleased to answer any questions. | House Boats: Wanted: Looknig to rent in August '09 |
| Hi, I'm a clean & tidy, quiet 26yo Male, who is desperately looking to start living on the Water! I am looking to move within the next couple of months onto a boat situated in London. The thought of moving into a one bed flat doesn't really compare! I would be looking to either share or move in by myself - I don't own that much furniture so a Narrow boat would be perfect.
I am looking to spend up to £550p/month.
Any help would be gratefully appreciated as I am finding it very difficult to make this dream come true!
Many thanks,
Sky |
