Ark is a 76’x14’ Thames Lighter Barge built circa 1906 These boats were used to transfer goods and passengers to and from moored ships and were traditionally unpowered. This boat has no engine however it can be moved by tug.

The last survey was carried out in February 2018 and is available for inspection. The hull was blacked at the same time and. There is a boat safety certificate valid until december 2022

This barge is currently moored on a berth in Cowley Middlesex.

The mooring is NOT included in the sale of the boat and any interest in the mooring would be subject to negotiation with the marina and not the vendor. This boat has no engine however it could be moved by tug to another mooring.

Ark consists of a large open plan lounge/kitchen/diner.12’6” x 34’ Large bedroom 12’ x 13’, shower room with flush toilet and spare room. The kitchen is fitted with, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher and fridge freezer which are all included in the sale. Heating is diesel fired/electric central heating along with a log stove in the lounge. 240v shoreline power and gas for cooking.
