Irish Willow

Irish Willow is a 60 x 12.6 wide beam built in 2019 by Orchard Marina with a custom fit out which was finished in 2023.

This beautiful craft boasts a massive number of upgrades, designed for complete off-grid living. This is the most capable off-grid marine living you can find.

Irish Willow has a reverse layout with a full double bed towards the front (bow), the bathroom separating it from the second single bedroom.

The power setup...

Irish Willow runs a 24v setup with huge 2v single cell batteries designed for industrial use. This is charged by the massive 2.4kw of solar and converted by a 5kva inverter.
There is a built in Fischer Panda 24v generator for winter. It’s 6kva power output is enough to run everything you need and provide hot water for showers and recharge the batteries at the touch of a button.

In the summer months, this boat has the ability to run multiple loads of washing and drying in one day using solar alone whilst still leaving the battery’s full by the end of the day.

The water system...

Irish Willow also has a unique, upgraded water system. The drinking water is fed from a 600ltr stainless steel tank. The shower, toilet, washing machine and tumble dryer are fed from extra filtered river water. This means these appliances can be used at any time, you will never run out of water which is extremely useful when the river doesn’t allow for travel.

The boat also has a large black water stainless tank, giving up the option to fill up around 900litres of water at water points.

Quality materials...

Most modern boats are built from a large quantity of MDF, this can’t be said for Irish Willow.
All of the sheet material used on this boat is birch ply wood giving it longevity and a solid feel with no harmful gases escaping like MDF.
With the exception of the kitchen unit doors which are sealed MDF and deemed to be safe.

Irish Willow has fully custom made double glazed frameless windows which means there are NO CONDENSATION ISSUES at all. Having no external frames gives the vessel clean lines and a streamlined look.
