Description

Shosholoza is a bright, airy wide beam boat with a distinctly modern feel. Bought as a Sale Away in 2020, it was designed and fitted out by Calum Henderson of 2 Crew & A Cockapoo, whose own boat featured on Channel 4's Amazing Spaces. A continuous cruiser, the boat is currently moored in central London near Paddington/Little Venice. More like a spacious 2-bed apartment than a boat, there is ample living space for anyone looking to live a lifestyle that is far more affordable than the land-based alternative. Fitting out was completed in late January 2021 and it has been a much-loved floating home for us for the past 18 months or so. Having made the decision to go back to live in our beloved Cape Town, we must (reluctantly) allow the Shosholoza to become home to other lucky people. The boat is being sold fully furnished and equipped - just move in and enjoy life on the water!

The boat includes water filtration system, skylight and ample solar array.

The name, Shosholoza, is an Ndebele word from South Africa and means 'go forward' or 'make way for the next man'. The vessel has not been sign painted so the name can be changed by the next owner if they so desire.
