This French and Peel Wide Beam barge/workboat represents a truly fantastic and very versatile craft.  Before I begin with my comments, after shooting the external video for this boat, the owner informed me that what I thought to be teak decks are actually laid with Iroko planks. The beautiful lines of this 1926 Luxemotor speak for themselves. It is what made the current owners fall in love with her. She has undergone extensive renovation, with the hull taken back to bare metal both inside and out. It is always a pleasure to photograph such a well presented boat, such as this. The owners have been fastidious in the upkeep of the whole vessel.
