Penzance Cornwall UK|
Ar Bageergan, currently moored quayside on the South Pier of Penzance Wet Dock, Cornwall
Ex Breton Tuna boat, 59 feet long with a 20 foot beam, drawing about 9 feet, with a Cummins Turbo Diesel 365 HP engine and a top speed of 9 Knots. Built in Le Guilvenic, Brittany keel laid in 1971.
Partly converted to live aboard, currently used as a commercial shop.
From stern below deck bedroom & on suite sea toilet WC, ladder up to deck level into galley / day room with a place for a solid fuel wood burner, electric cooker and fridge. Forward into wheelhouse, see photos for details. Back through dayroom and out onto deck and forward of the wheelhouse there is a shop built onto the deck as I run it as an ongoing retail business, Bag O’ Rags, Pirate shop, www.bagorags.co.uk.
Through the shop go under shelter deck and down the stairs to fore peak and partly converted 'fish room' with a sea toilet. Up to now I have used this area as a stock room but at 7 feet tall and 18 feet wide x 12 feet long it is an ideal area for converting.
