Ness Point is a working, converted 55ft (16.5m) Dutch tug that has been transformed to provide an ideal liveaboard. The extension onto the original super structure to creates a large, light and comfortable living space.
Accommodation: The boat has a modern colour scheme and engineered wood flooring throughout the boat. As you enter the boat you enter the lounge and sleeping area which is bright and welcoming located in this area is a there is a space saving bed frame with draws underneath. This space is light and airy and with space for all the essentials, this cabin also has multi fuel wood burner which is perfect for those cold nights. The engine room is accessed through a hatch on the floor, this is where the battery bank, fuel tank and electrical systems are housed. There is good headroom and the added bonus of a large storage area, which could be converted to a work shop or hobby room. There is a large galley kitchen that comes with a gas oven, fridge with small freezer compartment, full sink, washing machine and tumble dryer. This is a very practical and stylish kitchen with a lot of storage space for all your kitchen needs. The steps up from the galley lead into the wheel house helm position. The steering is wheel controlled; there are large windows which provide good visibility when cruising but also views across the river Medway. There is a table for dinning and a second multi fuel burning stove. Through the hatch and down the stairs leads you to the second berth, there is a large wardrobe area perfect for hanging clothes. From this area there is a door that leads you to the bathroom with electric sea toilet, hand basin and full sized enclosed shower thermostatic control. The boat also has a second toilet which can be accessed on the port side fair weather deck.
The water tank holds 250 litres. There is 240v and 24v lighting, 240v electric sockets and TV aerial points throughout. The salon, which has been built in the last couple of years to provide further accommodation, has been spray foamed to provide extra insulation. Outside on deck there are wide walkways and areas to store logs etc. and plenty of room to sit and enjoy the surroundings. The boat was surveyed in 2017 when she was last out of the water.
