Premier Houseboats are pleased to present See The Elephant, a purpose built houseboat on floating modular units. offering comfortable living space and low maintenance construction.
See The Elephant was designed and built by her current owner with a view to creating a low cost, low maintenance home afloat that was also economical to run. The houseboat has plenty of light, and has been extremely well insulated.
Entering the boat through French doors you find a good sized lounge area, nicely decorated and light and airy, with the obvious focal point being the multi fuel burning stove which provides plenty of heating for the boat when needed.
Along from the lounge is the second bedroom, a good space that could be an office, or a spare bedroom with enough space for a double bed. The galley style kitchen offers plenty of workspace and storage, as well as a brand new fridge and a gas oven and hob.
The shower room has hand basin, toilet and shower cubicle, and the second double bedroom offers plenty of light as well as space. There is a gas water heater that supplies hot water, the owner did not feel the need for a full central heating system due to the quality of insulation and the heat already provided by the multi fuel burner.
Externally See The Elephant has been clad with low maintenance cladding, and has a small deck area at the entrance. it would be possible to create a roof terrace if required for further outside space.
Overall See The Elephant offers low maintenance living, is economical to run and is priced to sell, and is an excellent opportunity to enjoy hassle free life afloat.
