The theme of Mirage is light spacious low maintenance luxury living. The wheelhouse is a comfortable relaxing, eating and entertainment space. The custom leather seating seating is slightly raised for taking in the view with tinted glass for privacy. Opening windows give ventilation and the roof can easily be slid open too. You may also grab some rays on the roof deck.
Step down the oak stairs into the light and spacious heated and air conditioned interior. The saloon includes a long breakfast bar and 2 reclining leather LA-Z-Boy sofas as well as a large 3D TV with self seeking satellite dish reception. The galley has plentiful workspace and storage plus a four burner ceramic hob and extractor hood. The 2 large Sharp microwave/grill/ovens are complemented by integrated dishwasher, fridge and 2 freezers. The washing machine and dryer are hidden away but easily accessible in the bathroom. The master cabin has a full size walk around electrically elevating bed with 2 long wardrobes and 2 vanity units. The second bedroom is a study with convertible double bed.
With no gas on board, 240 volt power is provided throughout the vessel by 6Kw Victron inverters, 11Kw Onan generator and 1120Ah 24v batteries. There is no external wood with the wheelhouse and mast being constructed from aluminium.

The Wheelhouse features a raised semi circular custom leather seat comfortably seating 4 or a cosy 5 with adjustable table. Split doors enable the tops to be opened separately or removed. Opening windows to fore and aft allow good ventilation. Tinted glass is fitted to the sides and aft. The wheelhouse roof is a single unit on rollers for removal or simply sliding forward for extra sunshine. The wheelhouse can be folded down to achieve an airdraft of 2.0M for low bridges. The roof rolls onto the roof deck and the sides fold outward after the door tops are removed and stowed.
Main accommodation is accessed by descending the oak stairs into the galley with lots of cupboards and worktop space plus a featured illuminated double sided glass suspended cabinet. The cabinets all have solid oak doors with two large built in Sharp multi cook combination microwave/oven/grills and a four ring ceramic hob with extractor hood over. The galley also has an integrated dishwasher, fridge and 2 freezers and the sink and drainer has a filtered water tap. It has a heating system powered hot air kickspace heater. The stairs lift on a hydraulic ram to give access to the engine room through a watertight door. The large corner cupboard contains the low voltage and mains voltage electrical systems, the isolation transformer plus the 3 Victron inverter chargers.
Cloakroom with vanity unit and cassette toilet is especially useful when pumpout from the tank is unavailable.
The large main saloon has a large breakfast bar, skirting heating, 2 air conditioner outlets with A/c control panel, the double glazed ceiling dog box and a self seeking satellite TV system (new in 2018). It is heated by a skirting radiator.
The main bathroom and laundry room includes a large shower with thermostatic valve and automatic pumpout, a wall hung white ceramic macerator toilet, a vanity unit with white ceramic basin and white ceramic wall hung bidet. A cupboard conceals the studio automatic washing machine and the full size condensing tumble dryer. Chrome heated towel radiator with thermovalve.
The master bedroom has a full size walk around electrically elevating double bed with storage under, large wardrobes along both sides of the cabin plus 2 vanity units, a radiator with thermovalve and air conditioner outlet.
The second bedroom has been fitted to act as a large study with desk and filing plus a large wardrobe. The desk converts into a double bed. Skirting radiator with thermovalve and air conditioner outlet.
The shell was designed and constructed in steel by Paul Barber. She has a 5ft wide 12.5mm base plate with 4ft by 10mm chines and bilge keels. The superstructure is made from 4mm plate with the side decks being 6mm plate.
The stairs to the main accommodation elevate to reveal the watertight door to the engine room. The Perkins M92B is skin tank cooled and has a custom made sound reducing jacket, own battery and exhausts through a hospital silencer. It is fitted with a 12V 50A alternator plus a 24V 150A alternator. The ceiling (wheelhouse above) and tank side and bulkhead also have sound insulation. The Onan 11Kw generator is in a sound reducing cocoon, is skin tank cooled with its own battery and exhausts through a hospital silencer. The diesel fired Somy boiler is a small ships boiler that powers the heating system and the domestic hot water through 2 Grundfos pumps.
