• Engine: Russell Newbery DM2 18hp 2-cylinder engine with a Newage PRM 260 D2 hydraulic gearbox. Push rod controls.
• Quality 10:6:4 mm steelwork by Stowe Hill Marine with a trad stern and 4 sets of side doors, Houdini hath and two pigeon boxes to the roof. There is a cratch and cover to the bow and a solid brass headlight. Paintwork by Phil Speight, the roof has been repainted in 2019.
• Professional fit out to a high standard by Stowe Hill in solid Parana pine T& G with solid oak trims to the ceilings, and cabin sides and oak faced ply with solid oak trims to the hull sides. The flooring is carpet throughout apart from galley which has tiles, the engine room which has deck boards and the Boatman’s cabin which has oak planks.

Horn, brass headlamp and navigation lights. Central heating by Eberspacher diesel boiler via 4 finrads, the solid fuel stove and the Premier boatman’s solid fuel stove. Water heated by engine heat exchanger and Eberspacher boiler. Integral steel water tank.

Blanche 2 is a beautiful 1992 three-owner tug style narrow boat with beautiful lines, a boatman’s cabin and a Russel Newbery in a separate engine room. She has been maintained with care and looks like a much younger boat. There is a cratch and cover to the front, with a solid brass headlamp. The BSSC expires in November 2025, and she was last blacked in May 2024. Viewing is highly recommended. Moorings are available by separate negotiation.
