24m Dutch iron barge,1904 a Hasselter Aak Fully converted to a live aboard vessel 20 plus years ago. She offers a unique floating home with the ability to relocate whenever required. She maintains many of her original features comfortable
She was in dry docked last September 2018, surveyed, metal thickness tested and re epoxy painted. Copy of survey report is available. The topsides have also been repainted. A considerable amount of metal work was carried out to the underwater surface. Anodes replaced and a new outlet valve for the sanitation services installed. Steel decks coach roof integral day cabin all constructed in steel with a painted finish.
She offers three double cabins, The day cabin has been opened up and is integral with the lower saloon and open-plan galley. There is space throughout the vessel for both living and working generous headroom throughout. The Aft cabin is used as an artist’s studio/ workshop.
The present owners completely refitted out the barge in 1990's, designing innovative energy efficient systems and environmentally friendly solutions (the hull is foam insulated throughout, secondary glazing at the port lights. There is a Microphor marine sanitation plant (a composter).
The barge is engineless, she has been towed around onto different berths over the past 20 years in Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk.

Good standing headroom 6ft 6ins plus throughout apart from the aft cabin reduces to approx 5ft 7ins.

Master cabin has a large double bed walk around vanity units/ dressers on both sides of the bed . Access steps out through a deck hatch. Ensuite which offers an electric toilet, washbasin. Clothes airer, washing machine and drier.
The vessel is in good decorative order. All services are functional and well maintained. 240v mains circuit throughout.
The forepeak is separated by a watertight bulkhead. in here there is the sanitation system and bosuns locker.
